Getting Started with Anxiety Therapy
You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the first step.
Do I really need therapy?
Things aren’t “that bad.” You’re holding it together. From the outside, you look fine — probably even successful.
But inside? You’re exhausted. Anxious. Second-guessing yourself. Saying yes when you mean no. Lying awake replaying conversations. Worrying about money. Wondering whether your relationship is actually working — or if you’re just afraid to admit it isn’t.
You don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support.
Therapy for anxiety isn’t just for when things fall apart. It’s for people who are tired of managing it alone — who want to understand why they operate the way they do and shift the patterns beneath it.
If you’re here, something in you already knows.
What is therapy like here?
Therapy here isn’t about coping better or just talking through your week.
It’s about understanding what’s actually driving the anxiety — whether that’s perfectionism, financial pressure, or relationship self-doubt — and working at the level where those patterns formed.
We don’t just analyze the patterns. We shift them.
So you don’t have to work so hard to manage everything.
So life doesn’t require quite so much effort to hold together.
Is this practice a good fit?
My practice is a good fit if —
You look successful on the outside but feel anxious, exhausted, or stuck on the inside
You're tired of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and never feeling good enough
You want to understand your patterns around money, relationships, or self-worth—and actually change them
You're ready to do the work (I'll guide you, but this requires your participation)
You value a therapist who's direct, warm, and won't waste your time
You're open to approaches beyond just talk therapy (like Brainspotting)
It may not be a good fit if —
You’re only looking for quick tips, advice, or symptom management tools.
You want someone to tell you what to do rather than help you build inner clarity
You’re not open to exploring emotions, patterns, or nervous-system responses
You’re being pressured into therapy and don’t personally want to engage
What we work on
You're not coming to me because of a diagnosis. You're coming because something feels harder than it used to.
The constant pressure you put yourself under to keep everything together, it starting to wear on you. Maybe it's overthinking that won't quit. Money stress that doesn't make logical sense. A relationship that leaves you confused. Or just a persistent feeling that you're running on empty. Here's what we can address:
Burnout & Overwhelm
Overthinking every decision. Over-preparing so you're never caught off guard. Tying your worth to your performance. Saying yes to avoid conflict. Chronic exhaustion and burnout from being "on" all the time. Never feeling like you've done enough.

Financial stress
Anxiety about money even when you're financially stable. Shame or avoidance around financial decisions. Linking your worth to your income. Scarcity thinking that doesn't match your reality.

Relationship anxiety
Feeling stuck in your relationship. Questioning whether to stay or go. Repeating the same patterns. Difficulty trusting your own judgment. Over-giving or shutting down.

What are therapy sessions like?
We start with what's actually happening in your life right now.
Some sessions are more conversational—we talk through what you're dealing with, identify patterns, and work on practical shifts.
Other sessions use Brainspotting—a brain-body approach that helps your nervous system release what's stuck when talking about it isn't enough.
Most sessions weave both together.
There's no script. We follow what you need.
You don't just understand your patterns—you change them.
The goal isn't just insight ("Oh, I see why I do that"). The goal is actual change at a nervous system level—so you don't have to work so hard to manage your anxiety, your relationships, or your life.
You'll leave sessions with:
Practical tools you can use immediately
Deeper understanding of why you do what you do
Shifts in how your body responds to stress
More confidence in your decisions
Less exhaustion from holding everything together
This isn't about fixing you. You're not broken.
You've developed these patterns for good reasons—they helped you survive, succeed, or stay safe. But they're exhausting you now.
Our work is about updating those patterns so they serve you instead of draining you.
How I work
An approach shaped by both clinical expertise and real-world experience
I'm an MBA turned therapist (LMFT). I get the pressure to perform, the anxiety about money, and what it's like to look successful while feeling exhausted.
I spent over a decade in finance and corporate environments before becoming a therapist. I get the intensity, the perfectionism, the need to appear capable while struggling privately.
My approach combines:
Talk therapy (for understanding patterns and building skills)
Brainspotting (for nervous system work when talking isn't enough)
Practical, real-world focus (I'll help you understand what's happening and why, but more importantly, how to actually change it)
Weekly therapy or an Intensive

Flexible formats— tailored to your life.

How to get started
Starting therapy doesn’t require certainty — just curiosity.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need, what’s “wrong,” or how to talk about it yet. The first step is simply a conversation.
01
Schedule a free 15-minute consultation
This is a brief, no-pressure call where we talk about:
What's bringing you to therapy
What you're hoping will change
Whether we're a good fit
You can ask questions. You can share as much or as little as you want. There's no obligation to continue.
02
Book your first session
If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule your first session. I'll send you simple intake forms to complete beforehand.
You don't need to prepare a life story. You don't need to know where to start. We'll take it from there.
03
Your first session
Your first session is about understanding what's been weighing on you, what patterns you're noticing, and what you want to feel different.
We'll talk about how we'll work together and create an approach that feels supportive and sustainable.
